Work and Career

I believe architecture is a part of our daily lives- everyone experiences architecture in some way, every day. Architecture has the power to better communities by creating places where people want to congregate, which in turn empowers a community.  I first became interested in architecture when I noticed the impact our surroundings had on our mood, productivity, and life.

In 2013, I had the opportunity to job shadow a local architect for a school project, and the rest is history. I graduated from the Fay Jones School of Architecture+ Design in December of 2022 with a Bachelor's in Architecture and two minors in The Foundation of Sustainability and History of Architecture and Design. My interests in the field of architecture also include urban planning, sustainability, and affordable housing. I have particularly enjoyed working with non-profit organizations to tackle local issues impacting our community, and I look forward to any opportunity to further better Northwest Arkansas.

Personal Life and Ambitions

Outside of architecture, I'm passionate about the outdoors, reading, and our local community. If I'm not at work, you can usually find me at home in our garden, or with our (mostly geriatric) cats, dogs, chickens, and horses. We are currently finishing our home remodel and are excited to be done! If all else fails- you can likely find me on a hiking trail or in a kayak on the river.

My weekends are spent enjoying time with my wife, Sky, at our bookstore in Prairie Grove or playing with our Golden Retriever Ana, affectionately deemed our store's 'associate manager' by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Like me, my wife is passionate about building community, and we have found one of the most rewarding methods is by increasing access to books and reading in our hometown.
